Liviu Sferle manages the ELIJAH agriculture. He is 43 years old and acts like a father to the apprentices and casual workers, as much as to the animals. “It makes sense to farm in a rural area. The farm gives us what we need every day: meat from the animals, milk from the cows, sheep and goats, honey from the bees, eggs from the hens. We use the manure to fertilize where the vegetables grow. We run a model farm, where oung people and families can learn organic farming.”
